Overall Purpose of the Role:

To deliver a professional, authentic and memorable experience to all our customers, by providing great service in a unique and relaxing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

· To build great relationships with all customers through positive body language and natural conversation

· To set up the restaurant ready for service, cleaning the chairs cushions, cleaning the tables and setting up the tables according to the standards for the restaurant

· To CREATE personalized menu for customers, helping them to make the right suggestions by demonstrating knowledge of the MediterrAsian cuisine and the Bambuddha menu

· To process food orders through the computer system to the Chefs accurately and at a manageable pace

· To process drinks orders accurately through the computer system to the Bartender

· To manage your allocated section of the restaurant efficiently, ensuring that all customers receive the food and drinks ordered within the set service times

· To check the presentation of all dishes before serving to tables and to advise the Manager on duty if any do not meet Bambuddha standards

· To open and serve any bottles of wine ordered and to serve drinks to tables as prepared by the Bartender

· To clear tables promptly as customers finish each course

· To be aware of and to react to, every customer’s specific needs i.e. checking they are happy, topping up drinks, offering additional drinks, offering desserts and coffees, and suggesting extra items as appropriate

· To give each customer a genuine and warm farewell on departure, thanking them for visiting

· To ensure that the restaurant is kept clean at all times (tables, floors, condiment units, etc.) following all daily and weekly cleaning schedules as required

· To work as a team with everyone who works at the restaurant, supporting each other and welcoming any new members to the family

· To comply with all reasonable requests from members of the management team

· To demonstrate responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others by reporting any accidents to the manager on duty, and advising the manager on duty of any faulty equipment or matters that could affect the health and safety of yourself or others



Minimum Education Level

· Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

· Course in safety, environmental, public health, sanitation regulations and procedures are advisable

· Food Handling course and accreditation


· The “Food Sharing” concept

· Experience in working in fine dining

· Bilingual Spanish-English, good verbal skills (Other languages are a plus)

· Effective Planner and organizer

· Flexible

· Fast

· Stable

Working Hours & Expectations

Restaurant: 5-6 days per week 17:45 – 02:00 or 18:45 – 03:00, Extra hours if required
